Content is still Key for 2015 SEO

Search engine optimization, or SEO, is about providing relevant and readable content for site visitors who are looking for information about a product they want to buy or a service they want to check out. Now that Google has yet again followed up its local ranking algorithm with its new Google Pigeon updates, marketing experts take it as another challenge to try to get their clients’ website to the top of the search engine results page (SERP). There is little chance for any website to try to fool Google through sneaky, black hat tricks, for this updated algorithm has its own mechanism to make sure that websites with relevant and important content get to earn their place on the top pages.

Content will still be king. Online marketing efforts have been geared towards ease of navigation to allow site visitors a productive experience through relevant and eye-catching visual content.
Don’t forget to localize your content; place the proper location tags in your content, from your titles and subheadings to the body of text itself. Optimizing your content with the proper geotags makes it easy for your target market to find you.  For example, if you’re a dental clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, optimizing your content with the right geotag makes it convenient for Baton Rouge residents to find you when they need and look up dental services in their locale.

SEO is ever changing, and the great thing about it is that it’s more than just about ranking high in the search results page. More than ever, businesses are compelled to provide what consumers fundamentally need: relevant information for their daily lives.
